In this multipurpose destination, one side functions as a walk-in pantry<\/a> with generous open shelving for everyday storage and display, while the opposite side reads like a potting or gardening station, an idea rooted in classic country estates. \u201cI was imagining a space where someone like Martha Stewart would cut flowers or pot plants,\u201d Ashley says. \u201cThat idea really drove the material and color choices, the patterns, and the feeling of the room.\u201d<\/p>\n

The custom cabinetry is painted<\/a> in a soft, earthy mushroom tone with a brushed glaze and features vintage-style cutouts, furniture-like<\/a> proportions, and tall baseboards that ground the space. Lattice mesh produce drawers \u2014 vented at both the front and bottom \u2014 bring in a distinctly garden-inspired detail, ideal for storing fruits and vegetables while adding beautiful texture. The cloudy textured chinchilla glass adds another organic layer.<\/p>\n

\"Garden\u201cWe wanted this to feel meticulously collected,\u201d Ashley explains. \u201cThese are details that make the pantry feel special, like your home\u2019s unique conservatory-inspired space. The natural light that streams in really highlights these earth-inspired textures and tones.\u201d<\/p>\n

An earthy-toned quartzite<\/a> plays a starring role as well, wrapping the countertops, backsplash and backsplash shelf, and even the sculptural sink<\/a>, all cut from the same slab for a seamless look. Above, a stepped tray ceiling<\/a> draws the eye upward, creating an airy, almost atrium-like feeling that echoes the organic movement of the stone. The marble-inspired checkered flooring<\/a> adds to the classic garden estate feel. The decorative sconces channel elegant roots, while the antique nickel cross handles at the sink embody an outdoor faucet.<\/p>\n

Soft pink walls \u2014 pulled directly from the quartzite veining and complementing the delicate floral wallpaper \u2014 add color without overpowering the space. \u201cPink can feel unexpected,\u201d Ashley notes, \u201cbut here it ties everything together and brings out the softness in the stone and patterns.\u201d This pink tone is also found in the adjoining kitchen<\/a>, tying the two spaces together visually.<\/p>\n

Inside the cabinets are bottle holders, tip-outs for laundry or pet food, and thoughtful storage solutions<\/a> tailored to daily life. A custom cherry pocket dog door with antique brass hardware connects to a dedicated dog bowl area. \"Garden\u201cI\u2019m always thinking about how people actually live in their homes,\u201d Ashley says. \u201cWhere pets<\/a> eat, sleep, and move throughout the day \u2014 that matters just as much as how the room looks.\u201d<\/p>\n

The result is a butler\u2019s pantry that feels equal parts practical and poetic: a traditional garden retreat designed to be used and admired every day.<\/p>\n
