\u201cFor this hall bath design, we really wanted to show how much storage you can get in a smaller footprint,\u201d Normandy Designer Jackie Jensen<\/a> says. \u201cThese types of spaces are usually tight, so every inch has to work hard.\u201d<\/p>\n

That thinking led to a larger vanity with generous drawer storage, a recessed medicine cabinet with a built-in electrical outlet, a nook with open shelving<\/a> and additional cabinet storage, as well as two shower niches \u2014 one lower and one higher \u2014 for easy accessibility to products whether you\u2019re showering or bathing.<\/p>\n

\u201cThese details elevate everyday function without visual clutter,\u201d Jackie says. \u201cIt\u2019s practical but still feels very streamlined with a modest sophistication.\u201d<\/p>\n

The subtle but stylish design details provide both personality and durability. The tapered cabinet foot at the base of the vanity gives the piece a furniture-like<\/a> presence rather than a heavy cabinetry look. The vanity and storage niches are topped with an easy-to-maintain quartz<\/a> surface selected also for its clean appearance. The hexagon porcelain floor tile adds interest while standing up to the demands of everyday life.<\/p>\n

Finished in a soft gray<\/a>, the cabinetry keeps the room feeling airy, and brushed nickel hardware brings a luxe element. In the tub-shower combination, a gray-blue tile introduces subtle color, and a tile arrangement shift on the back wall adds visual depth. \u201cIt\u2019s simple, but changing the tile design on one wall gives it something unique and appealing to the eye,\u201d Jackie says. A shower column combines a showerhead and handheld<\/a>, offering versatility in a cost-effective way.<\/p>\n

Layered lighting throughout \u2014 including integrated mirror lights, vanity lights<\/a>, recessed can lights, a fan light, and dedicated shower lighting \u2014 allows the room to shift effortlessly from bright and functional to soft and calming. \u201cYou can really choose the mood depending on the time of day,\u201d Jackie says.<\/p>\n

This hall bath balances beauty and budget, making it an ideal solution for a guest, kids\u2019, or shared bathroom.<\/p>\n
